We use the highest quality fabrics and washes to offer you the perfect t-shirt which will compliment your favorite pair of jeans. The T-Shirt is also a great layering piece for our long sleeve shirts, thermals, and fleeces. Tailgate Clothing Co., established in 1997, re-creates a forgotten era of timeless collegiate sportswear and vintage styles with updated fits and washes. Our mission is to create the perfect soft, old worn-in and weathered apparel that everyone wants to wear.

After years of working at J. Crew & Polo Ralph Lauren, we recognized a need for a better brand of collegiate sportswear - something "old school". Tailgate Clothing Co. was established to fill that need. We began with Tailgate Black Label, five schools and a staff of one. In 1998 we introduced a vintage-inspired line, Tailgate White Label, which quickly became a favorite of celebrities, stylists, and wardrobe departments. With increasing exposure in the market, our product began appearing in magazines, movies, music videos, and on television shows.

Today, we continue to design our lines with products that compliment our great fitting t-shirts and sweatshirts. Our highest praise comes when someone tells us what a great fitting t-shirt we make. For us, the excitement of seeing our product in the market never fades. Currently over 43 schools participate in the Tailgate Black Label line and on any given day a Tailgate White Label product will show up in the media.
